Dated: December 12th, 2020

The Aurora Amateur Radio Group conducted their first large remote exam session on Saturday, December 12th, 2020.  Six applicants had attended the session and one of them was fully blind!  Today marked a milestone on two fronts.  One, this being our first multi-applicant session, and two, our first fully remote examination administered to a visually impaired applicant!  The following were on today's exam team:

Andrews, Chuck (W5AD)
Gibson, Joy (WA4JOY)
Gibson, Virgil (W4OME)
Girello, Frank (W3UF)
Hamilton, Dave (AF0H)
Hess, Brandin (WL1B)
Perry, Joel (KN4EWI)
Purgert, Dan (AD8GC)
Reed, Irene (KN4ZHL)
Reed, Matt (WT4FU)

All six applicants who tested with us today walked away with a CSCE.  As the club president, I want to publicly thank my team for being on their feet for today's session and for their tireless effort to make this a success for all.  Some of the quick thinking members of our amazing team made us shine and for that, I can't thank you enough!
